Move Over, Darling (1963)

Directed by Michael Gordon, Five years after his wife, Ellen, disappears at sea in a plane crash, successful lawyer Nick decides it’s time to move on: He has Ellen declared legally dead, remarries and sets off on his honeymoon. But there’s trouble in paradise when Ellen — who’s in fact very much alive — turns up to surprise the newlyweds, and then all gets complicated.

Easy to Wed (1946)

Directed by Edward Buzzell, To prevent a libel case against the paper, a reporter tries to compromise the reputation of a tycoon’s slandered daughter. The Morning Star when the newspaper prints a story claiming his daughter Connie was responsible for the breakup of a marriage. Anxious to save his paper from financial ruin, editor Curtis enlists the help of business manager Warren, who postpones his marriage to Gladys in order to assist his employer.
