Suits (2011– )
While running from a drug deal gone bad, Mike Ross, a brilliant young college-dropout, slips into a job interview with one of New York City’s best legal closers, Harvey Specter. Tired of cookie-cutter law school grads, Harvey takes a gamble by hiring Mike on the spot after he recognizes his raw talent and photographic memory. Mike and Harvey are a winning team. Even though Mike is a genius, he still has a lot to learn about law. And while Harvey may seem like an emotionless, cold-blooded shark, Mike’s sympathy and concern for their cases and clients will help remind Harvey why he went into law in the first place.

The Borgias (2011)

Mad Men (2007– )

Diagnosis Murder (1993)
Dr. Mark Sloan is a doctor at Community General Hospital, and he is a consultant for the police department. His son Steve Sloan is a detective for the department. He and his father, along with emergency room resident Dr. Jesse Travis and Dr. Amanda Bentley, who is the pathologist at the hospital help to solve some very strange murder cases.
Keeping Up Appearances (1990)

The Big Bang Theory, (2007)
Leonard and Sheldon are both brilliant physicists working at Cal Tech in Pasadena, California. They are colleagues, best friends and roommates, although in all capacities their relationship is always tested primarily by Sheldon’s regimented and non-conventional ways. They are also friends with their Cal Tech colleagues, mechanical engineer Howard and astrophysicist Rajesh. The foursome spend their time working on their individual work projects and have little or no luck with “popular” women.

Law & Order, (1990)
The show follows a crime, usually adapted from current headlines, from two separate vantage points. The first half of the show concentrates on the investigation of the crime by the police, the second half follows the prosecution of the crime in court.
Jerry Seinfeld stars in this television comedy series as himself, a comedian. The premise of this sitcom is Jerry and his friends going through everyday life, discussing various quirky situations that we can all relate to (especially if we live in New York). The eccentric personalities of the offbeat characters who make up Jerry’s social circle contribute to the fun.

Sam Malone, a former baseball star, is the head of a nice little bar where Norm, Cliff, Dr. Frasier and all the other regular customers spend together a few hours every day, talking about their problems, laughing at each other’s flaws, trying to be there when someone else needs them. “Cheers” is the place where everybody knows your name.
The King of Queens, (1998)
Delivery man Doug Heffernan has a good life: He’s got a pretty wife (Carrie), a big TV and friends to watch it with. Then Carrie’s goofy and annoying father Arthur moves in with them.
Mad About You, (1992)
Light television comedy featuring Paul and Jaime Buchman as a recently married couple in New York City. They point out the gentle humor of domesticity and in the everyday situations of life, notably his parents and siblings, her sister, their colleagues, friends, superintendent and neighbors, psycho-therapist, all kinds of staff, customers, officials, bystanders etc., even their dog Murray and his dog-walker.
Sons of Anarchy, (2008)
Sons of Anarchy, is a motorcycle gang that operates both illegal and legal businesses in the small town of Charming. They combine gun-running and a garage, plus involvement in porn film. Clay, the president, likes it old school and violent; while Jax, his stepson and the club’s VP, has thoughts about changing the way things are, based on his dead father’s journal. Their conflict has effects on both the club and their personal relationships.
Everybody Loves Raymond,(1996)
Ray Barone seemingly has it all. A wonderful wife, a beautiful family, a great job, a nice house on Long Island. There’s only one problem. His obnoxious parents (who live across the street) and his jealous brother are always getting in the way.
Lorelai Gilmore, 32, has such a close relationship with her daughter Rory that they are often mistaken for sisters. Between Lorelai’s relationship with her parents, Rory’s new prep school, and both of their romantic entanglements, there’s plenty of drama to go around. A drama centering around the relationship between single mother and her teen daughter living in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.

Hot in Cleveland,(2010)
A trio of vapid L.A. women are diverted to Cleveland and decide to stay at a home with a snarky caretaker. These middle-aged Los Angeles women who find new purpose in the Midwest is inoffensive and sometimes mildly amusing, but also bland and completely forgettable.
Will & Grace,(1998)
Will & Grace are best friends. Will is a gay lawyer and Grace is a straight interior designer. They both live in New York. Grace is engaged to a real jerk, but when that relationship falls apart, she moves in with Will. This is only supposed to be until Grace finds a place of her own, but she and Will end up with each other as permanent roommates. Also in the cast are Jack, Will’s flamboyant gay friend and Karen, Graces’ secretary/assistant.
The daily mishaps of a harried woman and her semi-dysfunctional family and their attempts to survive life in general in the city of Orson, Indiana.
Two and a Half Men, (2003)
A hedonistic jingle writer’s free-wheeling life comes to an abrupt halt when his brother and 10-year-old nephew move into his beach-front house. The Harper brothers Charlie and Alan are almost opposites but form a great team.
Dr. Frasier Crane moves back to his hometown of Seattle where he lives with his father and works as a radio psychiatrist. He shares his apartment with his retired cop father, Martin, and his father’s physical care assistant, Daphne Moon. Add in brother Niles, Eddie the dog, some bizarre situations and plenty of humour and you’ve got all the ingredients for an excellent show.
Family Guy, (1999)
In a wacky Rhode Island town, a dysfunctional family strive to cope with everyday life as they are thrown from one crazy scenario to another. The Griffin household includes two teenagers, a cynical dog who is smarter than everyone else, and a mutant baby who makes numerous attempts to eradicate his parents and siblings.
